In its 108-year history, Aston Martin has produced more than its fair share of amazing classic cars. From open-top racers to hybrid hypercars, these are just a handful of the ones we think rank among the best.
Aston Martin DB9
The DB9 is undoubtedly one of the brand’s most important cars. Based on the popular DB7 of the 1990s, the DB9’s styling resonated so well among fans that it remained in production for 12 years. The car also represented Aston Martin’s move away from Ford and served as the inspiration for other classic models like the DBS and Virage.
Aston Martin Valkyrie
With the looks of a fighter jet and the downforce of a Formula 1 car, the Valkyrie is Aston Martin’s most unhinged car yet. A limited-edition hypercar, it was developed in collaboration with championship-winning Red Bull Racing F1 team and features a V12 hybrid powertrain generating upward of 1,100 horsepower.
One of the most collectible Aston Martin cars in history, the DB4GT Zagato was stunningly beautiful when it launched in 1961, and remains stunningly beautiful today. Rounded contours and extended wheel arches became the basis for the subsequent DB5, arguably the most famous car of all time.
